This postseason has been a winning one for both cegep and university level Saracens players. Both the men and women’s teams from John Abbott College won the RSEQ championship. Congratulations to Dara Brunette, Olivia Hamilton, Vanessa Petch, Victoria Petch, Miranda Sample, Kim Tannahill, Michelle Blair, Valerie Rochefort, Thomas MacDougall, Brandon McDowell and Graeme McClintock on their hard-fought victories!
The Concordia Stingers beat out Laval to advance to the National championships once again. Jenna Giuliani, Jayme McClintock, Cara Stuckey, Mandie Aldridge and Lea Leahy travelled to Antigonish, where they were unfortunately eliminated in the bronze medal game.
As a member of the McGill Redmen, Saracens player Josh Blair was an essential component in leading the Redmen to their RSEQ championship.
Last, but not least, our junior Lady Saracens traveled to New York 7’s this past weekend. They certainly did not disappoint, bringing home the title and making them the Triple Crown winners for this season. The junior Lady Saracens are Quebec 7’s champs, 15’s champs and NY 7’s champs, congrats ladies!
