The hottest day of the season so far saw all three senior Saracens teams competing at home this past Saturday. Coming off of a 37-10 win over Kingston last weekend, the Lady Saracens took an early lead over the St-Lambert Locks, making the score 53-0 at halftime. The heat of the day started to catch up with the Saracens and St-Lambert scored two quick trys, but it wasn’t enough to turn the game around and the Lady Saracens remained undefeated, winning 73-10.
After tough losses at Parc Olympique last weekend, both Saracen’s men’s teams were looking to come out strong on their home field. Unfortunately, injuries and a shortage of available players resulted in disappointing losses for both teams.
Look for the Saracens float this coming Thursday in the Ormstown Fair Parade and come cheer on your Lady Saracens at CVR @ 1:30pm Saturday as they take on RCM!
