This weekend marked the start of the season for the Saracens mens’ teams and the second game of the year for the women. Last week the Lady Saracens defeated the Ottawa Banshees 35-0. This week the Lady Saracens defeated the Montreal Irish 35-27 in a close game that saw both teams struggle with the windy conditions. The Saracens Men’s 2nd team had an outstanding game defeating Beaconsfield II 29-5. The Saracens Men’s 1st team suffered a disappointing 21-23 loss to Beaconsfield I with the deciding points being scored in the last minutes of the game. Overall, all 3 teams are ready and eager for the rest of the season and it should be a great one! Next home games are Saturday June 1st @ CVR 1:30pm
